There is so much going on with Creative Memories this month, that I didn’t want to wait to share Monday’s launch with you, for fear you would miss out on everything happening this weekend!!!
Where do I start????
Let’s start with the most recent past…
Creative Memories hosted a crop this weekend. Did you know about it? Let me give you the rundown….
- it was held on FaceBook in the Creative Memories Virtual Crop Group
- they work like this… every few hours over two days, CM posts a new layout with a sample. You use your supplies at home to re-create the layout and take a picture of it, post it to the CM FaceBook group and that gets your name in a draw for a prize. There is a prize for every challenge they post (for a total of six)
- Here is a link for you to see all the layouts and the samples. So, even if you don’t participate in the crop, you can still use these layouts in the future.
- the next CM VC (Creative Memories Virtual Crop) is scheduled for March 11-12, 2022

Oh, yes! The Adhesive Buffet Promotion that is coming on Monday at 1pm ET (after the Sketch Booklet Promo ENDS, unfortunately!)

- Photo Tape (you may remember this from YEARS ago! It’s a must for doing 6-page spreads which we will be showcasing at National Scrapbook Day in May! I have been hoping they would come out with this again!
- Foam Tape – when our foam squares are not enough!
- Max-Strength Crafting Tape Runner – for school and home projects. I’m hoping it will work on construction paper! Plus, you get a nice orange case!!!
- Adhesive Dots – I’ll have to buy a box of these and check them out. I’m intrigued
- Designer Photo Corners – looks like you get a variety of colours, so that’s neat. I think kids will like these. I can also see using them to hold down birthday and Christmas cards when a peek-a-boo pocket isn’t big enough.
So, how does this work again???
When you buy 8 adhesives (any combo) you will get a free pack of beautiful Hanayagi Paper (and no one is going to ask you to pronounce that name). You will also get some free embellishments – but they are a mystery, so I don’t know what they are!
Here is my shopping list to optimize what I think are going to be the most useful adhesives…

I purposefully didn’t say what the name was, because I didn’t want to scare you away.
This is Devotion.
It’s our new collection.
Yes, it’s for weddings, but no, that’s not all it’s for.

Let’s start with the album cover, shall we?
Yes, yes, super weddingish, but I think it’s quite lovely, if I were in the market for a wedding album, which I’m not, so let’s move on…
These are laser cut papers. They are very intricate and delicate, like me. Okay, bad comparison, sorry. Actually, they just look delicate, but really, these are quite sturdy. And, they are bigger than they look. Here is one used on a 12×12 layout.

This pack of variety mats could probably be used to make some pretty darn nice looking cards!
The stickers are most definitely to be used on wedding layouts!

Now, let’s say you have a wedding to go to this summer but you don’t have a gift? What about giving the bride a pre-designed scrapbook – ready to go?

- Registration will include a goodie bag, door prizes, sketches, layouts and tool tips
- This will be my last event until the fall
Secret Box Open Party
- Thursday, March 10 at 7pm – will likely only last about 20 minutes – on zoom – I’ll send you a link

- You have to have purchased the Secret Box to join in the fun.

- 1 hour in duration
- You have to have purchased the Made for You Card Kit in advance
- If you have the Devotions Variety Cards on hand and some blank cards, we could also design some wedding cards!
