Today I am launching a Wish List Promotion. Here is what you need to know…
What is a wish list promotion?
– a discount off orders submitted through the Creative Memories Wish List option
What is the Creative Memories wish list option?
Instead of ordering online, you can create a wish list. Wish lists are useful if you are considering buying something in the future and you don’t want to forget what it is you want to buy down the road. They are also great if someone wants to buy you a gift (Mother’s Day is coming up) and you want to share with them some things from Creative Memories that you would like to receive as a gift.
Why do I want to use the wish list option?
I am promoting the wish list option for everyone who is not already placing their own orders online (although those people too can take part in this promo!)
This is a way for me to simplify my business and hopefully make less errors on invoices.
Right now, I collect orders through google forms, customer tabs, email, text, phone calls, facebook comments and a variety of other means that I can’t think of right now 🙂
It is easy for me to “miss” an order, plus it is time consuming for customers to text lists or take screenshots of products.
I can easily move a wish list to my cart and place an order for someone who a) doesn’t want to shop online with their own credit card b) lives outside of our selling district (we don’t sell in Quebec, for example) c) wants to save on shipping by having me order it to my house with other orders and deliver it afterwards.
Basically, I want you to try the wish list feature because I think it might save us both some time.
What’s the deal with all the promotion stuff? What’s in it for me?
As a way for you to try the wish list option, I am offering my own promotion. This is a Scrap Happy Maria promo, not something being offered by Creative Memories.
I am going to give you a discount on your order (immediately, on this order, not a product credit to be used in the future).
The discount will only be applied to orders sent to me through the wish list.
Here are the tiers to save money. If your order before taxes and shipping equals the first number, I will give you a discount equal to the save amount.
Taxes and shipping will be applied on the total order amount before discount.
- $25 order = save $5
- $50 order = save $15
- $75 order = save $25
- $100 order = save $35
- $150 order = save $60
- $200 order = save $100
When does this Wish List Promotion end?
I will offer this promotion until I have given away $1000 in free product. I will try to keep track of the discounts and post updates on facebook, but the sooner you place your order, the sooner you will be guaranteed to get the discount.
How do I put something on my wish list? (watch video attached for a broad overview)
1. log into your account at https://www.creativememories.ca/customer/account/
2. make sure my name and your name are both showing in the top left corner of the website after you are signed in.
There are two ways to use the wish list feature. The first way is listed directly below, the second way is farther down under the question: What if I already have my wish list in my cart? I prefer adding things to my cart first and then moving them to my wish list because you can see exactly how much in total cost your cart is at, which you cannot do with the wish list. I’ll explain both ways here.
3. use the WHAT’S NEW and SHOP tabs to find the products that you want to add to your wish list from Creative Memories
4. once you have found an item that you want to add add to your wish list, click the heart below the item
5. your item will be added to your wish list and your wish list will automatically open up, you can continue shopping by clicking the word “here” above
How do I delete an item from my wish list?
To delete an item, hover over the item and click the garbage can below.
How do I add more than one of something to my wish list?
If you want to order multiples of something, add the number to the quantity box (Qty). You do not have to hit return, it will automatically update your wish list with the total number you want.
To make sure I don’t miss anything, it would also be helpful if you added a comment to address the number of refills you would like 🙂
How do I share my wish list?
8. once you are finished your wish list, share it with me – click SHARE WISH LIST
Enter my email address, [email protected], and click SHARE WISH LIST again
What if I already have my wish list in my cart?
It is very easy to move things from your cart to your wish list (and vice versa). The benefit of having everything in your cart first before adding it to your wish list, is that you can see the total amount of product being purchased which you can’t see with the Wish List
You will have things in your shopping cart if you previously clicked ADD TO CART below any item for sale on this website. To move things from your shopping cart, click the shopping cart in the top right, then click VIEW AND EDIT CART (big blue rectangle at bottom of pop up). If there is not a number in the box beside the shopping cart (top right) you do not have anything currently in your shopping cart.
From here, you will be able to see your subtotal (amount of product before discount), your shipping total, and how to move an item to your wish list.
You must move each individual item at a time; you can’t move your entire cart at once to your wish list. Also, you can see the Quantity of each item being ordered, so you can update that here if you want more than one of something. If you update the quantity, click UPDATE CART at the bottom of the screen before proceeding.
Move everything one item at time to your wish list and then continue to share your wish list following the instructions above.
What if I can’t find my wish list?
It is easy to get on another page and lose your wish list. To find it again, click on your name (top left) and go to MY ACCOUNT. Then choose MY WISH LIST from the options on the left.
You can access your wish list from anywhere on the website by going to your Account.
That’s it.
Once you share your Wish List, I will receive a copy of it via email. I’ll create a .pdf invoice, with your discount applied. You will have to pay the HST and shipping. Please confirm receipt of your invoice and send your payment via e-transfer to [email protected]. I’ll follow up with receipt of your payment and your expected date of delivery. Thank you!
