As you have likely heard, as of March 4th, Prime Minister Trudeau implemented tariffs for products coming from the United States in response to President Trump’s threats to impose tariffs on Canadian goods coming into the USA. These tariffs, designed to protect domestic industries, have significant implications for both consumers and businesses in Canada and my Creative Memories business is not exempt.
Creative Memories has done their best to mitigate the circumstances of this situation. However, in spite of their best efforts, it is simply not possible for them to absorb tariff costs and remain the stable, sustainable business that you trust.
Therefore, beginning Monday morning, March 10, there will be price increases on approximately 450 products. They average 15% – though tariffs are set at 25%. Creative Memories did not want to increase the price any more than they absolutely had to. Should these tariffs be removed, Creative Memories will remove these increases.
I am including the price increases in the attached spreadsheet because they are unique to each product. I am sharing this information with you to ensure you are an informed customer, not to entice you to purchase before the price increases go into effect on Monday.
I appreciate you choosing Creative Memories for your scrapbooking needs and me as your Advisor.
Sincerely,
Maria
